The Cut is a rural arts centre based in a large converted heritage maltings. It provides for Halesworth and the wider community:
• A full theatre/music programme in a 208 seat auditorium
• A full visual arts programme in two 150 sqm galleries
• 3 conference/meeting rooms.
• Weekly cinema on Wednesdays
• A 150sqm dance studio with sprung floor, mirrored wall for classes from yoga and pilates to Zumba and belly dance
• An educational programme through Science Café, U3A, creative writing and art classes
• A large café
• 13 business and studio units
• The MALT Experience. An immersive space presenting the local malting industry
• Weekly youth theatre clubs
• Regular Dementia carers’ support and fund-raising activities
• Life drawing, art classes and creative writing courses
