If you don’t do your dance, who will?
Music and dance activate pleasure centres in the body and brain stimulating comfort, calm, relaxation, joy and emporwerment as well as recalibrating the sensory and nervous systems. The class is inclusive and trauma informed.
A place where you can dance:
- Freely, without performing, following steps, routines or partnering with no expectations of what your dance should be or look like
- Safely, with a diverse group who enjoy grounded, conscious, freeform movement dancing on their own and together with consent and respect
- Creating space for yourself, moving from the inside out, engaging with others and sharing experiences which has a positive effect on mental and physical health and wellbeing
You are welcome whatever your age, gender, culture, ability, experience, shape, fitness, physical and mental ability (under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult)
£10 (sliding scale) – cash on the door or pre-payment
